Actor and singer Suki Waterhouse revealed she is expecting her first child during a performance at a music festival in Mexico City on Sunday. The “Daisy Jones & the Six” star made the surprise announcement while on stage.
Showing Off Baby Bump
“I decided to wear something sparkly today because I thought it might distract you from something else going on,” Waterhouse told the audience before showing off her baby bump under her outfit. She laughed and said, “I’m not sure if it’s working.”
Dating Robert Pattinson for 5 Years
Waterhouse, 31, has been in a long-term relationship with “Batman” actor Robert Pattinson, 37, for over five years. However, she did not mention Pattinson during the pregnancy announcement at the concert.
Very Private Relationship
The couple has kept their relationship very private over the years despite intense public interest. They only made their red carpet debut as a couple in 2022 at a Dior fashion show, nearly five years after they initially got together.
Staying Out of Spotlight
Both Pattinson and Waterhouse have avoided discussing each other much publicly. But Waterhouse did share in February 2022 that she was very happy in the relationship, although they intentionally stayed out of the spotlight.
First Child for Both
This will be the first baby for both Pattinson and Waterhouse. The pregnancy comes after years of dating quietly away from intense media attention. Their representatives did not immediately comment on the news.

Waterhouse and Pattinson remain busy with their respective acting and musical careers. Pattinson is filming sequels for upcoming blockbusters “The Batman” and “Tenet” currently. Meanwhile, Waterhouse is working on modeling and new music.
